The relationship between Alphonso Davies and Bayern Munich seems to be facing turbulence as his agent, Nick Househ, expressed frustration over the way contract negotiations have been handled.
The 24-year-old Canadian star, considered one of the best left-backs in the world, could be heading for a change of scenery if the situation doesn’t improve.
Househ, who was scheduled to visit Munich for talks, canceled his trip due to dissatisfaction with the club’s approach.
Instead of an in-person meeting, the negotiations were conducted via a video session. Adding to the frustration, Max Eberl, Bayern’s sporting director, did not attend the session, a move that surprised Davies’ camp.
Disappointed with Bayern’s handling of the situation, Househ has decided to explore other options.
According to reports, meetings with representatives from Manchester United and Real Madrid are already planned for January, reported by BILD
Both clubs are said to be keen on signing the Canadian defender, who has been a standout performer in Europe over recent years.
Davies’ future at Bayern Munich is now uncertain, and fans are left wondering if the club will step up to resolve the situation or risk losing one of their brightest stars.
For now, the ball is in Bayern’s court, but the growing interest from top clubs could make January a decisive month for Davies’ career.
