Former Ghana forward Charles Assampong Taylor has made a bold statement, claiming that Mohammed Kudus is a better footballer than Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr.

Taylor believes that if Kudus were to swap places with the Brazilian winger, he would easily become the face of Real Madrid.

Kudus has been making waves in Europe since joining West Ham from Ajax Amsterdam last year.

In his debut season with the Hammers, the Ghanaian international quickly established himself as one of the most exciting players on the continent.

He scored 14 goals and provided six assists in all competitions, leaving a strong impression in his first year in the Premier League.

Kudus also set a new record for the most successful dribbles in a single Premier League game during West Ham’s clash with Chelsea.

By the end of the season, he was recognized as the best dribbler in Europe, a testament to his incredible skill on the ball.

On the other hand, Vinicius Jr. played a key role in Real Madrid’s success last season, helping the team win both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.

The Brazilian winger has been widely praised and is even considered one of the favourites to win the Ballon d’Or.

However, Taylor believes that Kudus outshines Vinicius in terms of footballing ability. Speaking on Angel TV, he said, “Kudus is a better footballer than Vinicius Jr.

If Kudus were to be at Real Madrid, he’d have been the main man in the team. The quality that Kudus displays, Vinicius doesn’t match up, but it’s because we don’t believe in our own players and the lack of quality pitches here.”

Taylor himself was one of the most exciting talents in the Ghana Premier League during the late nineties and early 2000s.

He was part of Hearts of Oak’s famous 64 Battalion team that won the league, FA Cup, and CAF Champions League in 2000.

A former top scorer in the Ghana Premier League, Taylor later made a controversial move to play for Hearts’ bitter rivals, Asante Kotoko.

Taylor’s comments are sure to spark debate among football fans, especially considering Vinicius Jr.’s recent successes with Real Madrid.

Whether Kudus can reach similar heights remains to be seen, but there’s no denying that he’s already making a big impact in European football.
