Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia has shared his excitement over Jadon Sancho’s recent move to Stamford Bridge.
Sancho joined Chelsea on loan from Manchester United on deadline day, hoping for more game time after a challenging spell at Old Trafford.
Lavia, who is currently recovering from injury, delivered a simple yet motivating two-word message to his new teammate.
Lavia Shows Support for Sancho
Sancho, who was Chelsea’s 12th signing of the summer, posted pictures of himself in Chelsea’s kit on Instagram, and players from around the football world showed their support.
Among them was Lavia, who commented, “Let’s go!” with raising hands and blue heart emojis. Lavia’s message reflects the positive atmosphere at Chelsea, with players rallying behind each other as the new season gets underway.
Sancho’s loan deal includes an obligation for Chelsea to buy him for £25 million next summer.
Although he wasn’t able to play in Chelsea’s recent win against Crystal Palace due to registration issues, he could make his debut after the international break when Chelsea faces Bournemouth.
Sancho Excited About Chelsea Opportunity
Jadon Sancho has expressed his excitement about joining Chelsea, especially since it brings him back to London, where he grew up.
“I’m really excited to be here. London is where I grew up and I’m happy to be back,” Sancho said. “The manager spoke to me about the project and, for a young player, it’s exciting. Hopefully, I can bring goals and assists to the Bridge.”
Sancho will be eager to prove himself in his new surroundings, and Chelsea fans will be hoping he can bring the attacking spark that the team needs.
Lavia Recovering from Injury
Meanwhile, Lavia, who picked up a hamstring injury last month, continues to recover. He missed Chelsea’s last three games but reassured fans that he will return soon.
After Chelsea’s recent 6-2 victory over Wolves, Lavia wrote on social media: “5-star team performance! Let’s keep it going. I’ll be back very soon. Nothing to worry about, it’s going to be a long and exciting season for us Blues.”
Both Lavia and Sancho will be key players for Chelsea as the season progresses, and fans are eagerly waiting to see them in action together.
