After the game, Angola’s head coach, Pedro Gonçalves, expressed his concern over the poor state of the pitch at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Ghana Struggles to Break Angola’s Defense
Despite starting the game strongly, Ghana struggled to create clear chances. Captain Andre Ayew had an early opportunity in the fifth minute, but his weak cutback was intercepted.
Soon after, Antoine Semenyo had a chance to score from a corner, but his shot missed the target.
Angola responded with several attacks, with Gelson Dala coming close but failing to trouble goalkeeper Ati Zigi. Mohammed Kudus also had a good chance, but his shot was saved, leaving both teams goalless at halftime.
