West Ham United’s latest signing, Niclas Fullkrug, is already looking forward to playing with the club’s talented players, including Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus.
The German striker officially joined the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund on Monday, signing a four-year deal with the Premier League club.
Fullkrug’s Arrival at West Ham
Niclas Fullkrug brings a solid reputation with him to England.
The 31-year-old played a key role in Borussia Dortmund’s journey to the UEFA Champions League final last season and was also part of the Germany squad that reached the quarterfinals of the European Championship as hosts this summer.
With 15 goals in all competitions for Dortmund last season, Fullkrug is seen as a valuable addition to West Ham’s attacking options.
Excitement to Play with Kudus and Other Talented Players
Speaking about his move to West Ham, Fullkrug expressed his excitement about joining the club and highlighted his eagerness to play alongside Mohammed Kudus, Lucas Paqueta, and the rest of the team.
In an interview with West Ham TV, he said, “I am very happy to be here, also a little bit excited. I can’t wait to get on the pitch with my new mates.”
Fullkrug is confident that West Ham’s attacking lineup, which includes Kudus, Jarrod Bowen, and the newly signed Crysencio Summerville, will provide him with plenty of opportunities to score.
“There are a lot of very good players who can assist me, and if I get assists then I can score. I believe I can fit into this team very well,” he added.
With Fullkrug now part of the squad, West Ham fans will be eager to see how he integrates into the team and whether he can continue his goal-scoring form in the Premier League.
