“It’s pre-season. We are working and obviously there are things that we can perhaps improve. But in the end, it is a friendly that does not give much more than perhaps the prestige of the pre-season, of winning this match,” Courtois said.

“We are not worried, we have to keep working,” he added, emphasizing that the team is focused on being ready for the start of the competitive season.

He acknowledged Endrick’s potential but advised the youngster to remain calm and composed on the pitch.
“Endrick has a lot of strength, a lot of power, and maybe he needs to be a little calmer,” Courtois commented, noting that it’s natural for young players to feel nervous when playing for a club like Real Madrid.
Courtois also highlighted the progress of Arda Guler, pointing out the significant physical improvement the young midfielder has made since last year.
“Arda, it’s another Arda compared to last year. After his knee injury, he has worked a lot in the gym and you can tell that physically he is another guy,” Courtois said, praising his ability to make an impact on the field.
